Moving from S2000 to NSX
Ironically, it's almost too low mileage.
Since it's a trader, I'm not sure how 'immaculate' it was when it arrived.
Ok, it might be perfect & I'd like a purple. But not an F-matic, thanks.
You could get a very nice NA2 for that dough (if it ever comes up!)

I had the same dialema, having had two S2000's and looking at a third.
Had a test in a couple of NSX and I was hooked
Had mine about a year, and never looked back, a real ownership thrill every day
Just taken mine down to Le Mans for the 24 hour, and was not embarassed by anything ( if you know what I mean
)
Mine's an 1991 with approaching 95k miles, but still feels like a car half it's age. The early ones don't have power steering (which I prefer) are 3.0l and 5 speed Start there and go up dependant on budget. This is what you get for your

I've always been gobsmacked by how well these things hold their value. They're better at holding their money than Porsche's and aren't far away from Ferrari's like the F355!
If the newer shape 3.2's were around the 30k mark I'd have looked at one, and if the NSX-R's were closer to 40 I would almost certainly have one right now!
Ho hum, hope you enjoy it Andy if you take the plunge. I've heard of a few people swapping the seats out and changing the rails, it seems to be reasonably straight forward.

You can spot the good NSXs a mile off. They are the ones that have sold before you can find time to view them
They definately make a very good stepping stone up from an S2000, which in itself is likely to create a problem as there are many more S2000 owners than there are NSXs. Even if only a fraction open their wallets to the NSX, they will be in very short supply. If you check the NSX site you will find a high percentage of us had or still have S2ks.
Andy, if you are long in the leg, height probably will not be an issue, but if long in the body go for a long test drive. Fortunately I am short full stop, so I have no issues.

The NSX has been on my PC background for about 8 months now, which is a gentle reminder of my next car. The S was on my background for about a year and then I bought one.
Now with all this talk I want one even more now, but it looks like it could be a long wait.
Unless I trade in the S I am going to have to sell it which I am not looking forward to. Its been my daily drive for 4 yrs and I have no complaints...just the same smile I had after my first test drive.
Thanks for all your comments and if you happen to see an NSX for sale, sub
