The show was ok but after 1-2 hours of walking around there was not much to do,

Did anyone see a lovely Golf on the Revo stand

2 hours will suffice imo even with my Dad using a walking stick it didn't take us much longer. The classic stuff is really nice, the Aston stuff is worth a good look but you spend alot of time fending off children and neds to get a decent look at a car. Would be nice if they had a limited ticketed day with a higher price tag and fewer people .

I went on Sunday to earls court for it and agree the show was very good. But have a little winge about the fact that 90% of the cars have sign up saying please do not touch. My response to one company was if you dont want your cars being touched dont bring them to a car show....

Just got back a little while ago

Loved it, the narrated show was pretty good, lots of nice cars to look at and get a few bits of info on new purchases. Also really good to have free entry into the Classic car show, so much so that we ran out of time before the narrated show and ended up cutting our viewing short so we had time to get something to eat.

Really, really worth going IMO. Well worth the trip up there, despite

I'm off there tomorrow. How long did you spend going around the stands etc? Think our show is at 16:00, do I really need to arrive for 10:00 when the doors open?

I was there on Friday, good show

I'll post some pics later.

Don't go in your S's though, it looked like 2 cars had been nicked from the NEC car park when we were leaving!

Probably a bit late now, but we got there about 2, took us 1hr 30 around the MPH area in Hall 5 and then moved onto the classics in Halls 3 and 4. We walked around that for about another 2 hours, had something to eat, and were about ready for the show at 6pm. Still missed a few bits out unfortunately as we didn't actually have time to spare.

We went to the NEC today and the whole day was a disaster.

First, I charged my camera over night and on the journey there I checked my camera only to discover that the battery was completly DEAD.

Second, we got stuck in the longest traffic jam EVER and missed the live show - gutted! I was so looking forward to it after missing out last year.
What would have been a 40 minute journey turned into a 2hour 15minute journey. The M6/ M42(S). And when we did arrive at the NEC it took us over 30mins to actually find a 'non-filled' car park! So a bit of advise, anyone going to tomorrows show make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get there, especially if you are attending the 11.00 showing. However, they did say to us that we could turn up 10 mins before the next show at 1.30 to see if there were any spare seats, but when we got there there was already a queue of over 200 people who also missed the 11.00 show. So we missed out
