Merc C220, £350, 94k miles, bargain!

 

Wow, that is a bargain! Back when Mercedes were built properly...

 

£350 - What's wrong with it?

 

Not found anything so far!

Done 150 miles in it as a shakedown, brakes are suprisngly good, for a 17year old car it drives really well.

Couple of the interior bulbs need replacing, and it needs a new headunit (to run the built in Bose sound system, ahem). Touch wood it should be a good place to keep the weather off the S2k

Amazing car for the money.

There ARE deals out there - I knew someone who always seemed to find them.

 

I know someone who has a iirc N reg 728i SORNed. Needs a good polish, but drives well. A new car purchase and lack of time have meant that someone will get a bargain if he ever gets around to putting it on eBay.

 

Winter better? Gonna be crap if it snows.

The tend to be pretty reliable though, my dad runs old mercs and doesn't get too many hassles.
