Winter Beaters
I don't really have just a winter beater, because I drive the car all the time. I dont have pics but its a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant ES with 85k miles . It was my brothers car and sold it to me 4 months back for 2500.00! It was real cheap and he needed the money to move to Houston for a job. By the way, are you coming to our 2 meets in the philly area?

...I'm waiting until March or so and then I'm gonna pull the motor for a rebuild. But thanks
My winter beater is a 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R that I have had for about 5 years. It's pretty much unstoppable with snow tires on.

I bought an extra set of wheels and snow tires for the Evo too. But it has not left the garage in about 2 weeks. I can't bear the thought of salt getting on it.
Speaking of salt, WTF is PennDOT doing this year? They used to spread salt pellets on the road, now it seems like they are spreading salt powder or dust on the roads to pre-treat them. You can't even take your car out when it's still dry out now without it getting caked in salt dust...
