That's probably due to the psychology of having the tarmac pass visibly inches from one's arse.
Probably takes a new owner a while to get de-sensitised to that.

There's also the fact that the Atom's are often the quickest cars in a straight line on the track by some way. So the owners can afford not to push them in the corners because they then just blow away all the competition on the straights and still think they're lapping quickly.
You see it a bit with the expensive Porsches too.
But from the sound of it, Bachi's going to learn to drive it properly and i'm looking forard to see one being driven properly!

it's going to be an interesting learning curve. (no pun intended!)
i've only had it 3 days so far and i've almopst got the point where i need to take it back for its 500 miles service!

Ian,
thanks for the tips, as i mentioned before, it wasn't meant to be like that, however i've not spoken to the holy webmaster and he has sorted it, so it can be viewed without registering, however you'll still have to register to post
(it was something to do with anti spam he said, but you know me and compooters!)
The site itself is non profit making, we're trying to build a non marque specific community, based on friendly interaction.
As i said before we're trying to help our members by bringing in experts in various fields.
the income will be generated from the tours, events and related sales.
however, whilst we'd like people to come on tours there'll be no hard sell (other than look what you're missing!)
i expect about 20% of the sites users to actively engage in the tours, more on local events and mini tours.
the bottom line is we're doing it because we want to, it isn't the main income generator for any of the directors but it would be nice for it to pay for itself and enable us to have fun in our cars with other people.

He's not shy with the Fezza, so I can't see this being any different
Anyway, i'm sure Bachi's up to the challenge.
