I've been going through lots of beaters over the past couple of years but mainly small cars. Recently its become very apparent that the bargains are in big cars....so I bought one

I've never been one for Merc's but "Head Office" has always loved them so I thought this would cushion the blow of buying a bigger car.

It feels like its been cut from granite - heavy and solid, but with a 2.4 V6 and an auto box its beautifully smooth. It has a kickdown switch under the throttle and when you push it, the old girl picks up her skirt and flies

Its got Aircon...and... a Sunroof - I love an electric glass sunroof, and they seem to be out of fashion at the moment.

Well I have it for wet days, winter nights and car parks at stations and airports so it'll be on home turf...and invisible too
