Uses less fuel, so good for CO2 figures, which is better for company car purchases. Only 190/182 for the standard model.

one negative has come out via Chris Harris which is similar to what a lot of other reviewers are saying about the new 911...namley that the new power steering system feels a bit numb and not nearly as sharp as the older models....

I'd guess it's all relative though. Porkers have amazing steering feel. GT3 feels a little like an Exige! So if it's dumbed down a bit, i'd still guess it's better than most. Remember, a lof of reviewers slated S2000 steering, which I think is one if it's finest traits.

Which kinda demonstrates what's gone wrong this decade.

With braces, a little less caster & lightweight wheels, the S2000's steering is superb by modern standards. It was a bit sh it, at first.

I was thinking that too, but the way cars are going it's all down to fine details now and that's how progress is made. It's also a reduction in fluid weight and the engine isn't using fuel to drive the power steering pump...
