TSW Venoms now that is slammed CG

Oh the memories. I always wanted a set of OZ Polaris on my Golf or some Borbet C's
I remember them. Things have changed a lot in the modding world.

The CRX was lowered on a set of Tokico progressives that i bought from TDI for about £300 odd. That was back in the day when jap cars were just getting interest. That car turned heads just because most people didn't know what they were.

I still wish i had it now.
Those are horrid - I bet the ride quality was, erm "interesting"

Still wish I had mine, sort of. It was a fab little car.

Will Seb be buying you all one of these when he wins the championship?

Those Venoms were a no1 seller back in the 90's.

I hope he doesn't buy us all one, i couldn't justify the running costs of an S let alone a 4 litre odd yank tank.
I really don't know who buys these types of gas guzzling car when petrol costs as much as it does. I'm glad i only have a 1.3 engine now.

Talk about living in the past - what a bunch of old farts!

I agree totally - but then I think most modern cars are overstyled, undersubstanced shit.

Composite Guru? More like Led Gnu with those wheels!

I was never one for trying to make a car look wrong. I still actually think the 17" wheels were a big look improvement to the pathetic 14" originals. The venoms were on style back then but I would have a nice set of Rays on it now.

Nah, 17" look better. Even though they spoilt the drivability something rotten. I was young and stupid then.

no wonder you work in the fabrication shop and not the aero or style department

The new civic looks like the old civic, pretty much ... old man springs to mind.

I though the originals were 15" - it's been a long time though...

No, defo 14". They were pityful things. If i was doing it again 15" or 16" would be they way forward.

You say that, but I suspect 24" rims would find their way onto your car...

I have to say the original 14" wheels look 'right' on the Civic in question; it's all about proportion. 14" wheels would look ridiculous on most of today's cars simply because they have become behemoths.
