OK we are only talking 140bhp with a shade under 10 second 0-60 times but I think it looks quite nice, albeit slightly Vauxhall..

Don't you think it looks a bit daft from side on?

They only ever show the front 1/4 and rear 1/4 shots.

Side on it just looks a bit rubbish.

Still, all depends on how it drives I suppose

 

Side on looks very much like the previous shape Astra, albeit with a comparatively HUGE wing.

Like front on though, very Volvo-esque.

 

I think the interior is on par with a cheap Renault though.

Mitsu and Subaru really need to sort the interiors... actually Subaru needs to start from scratch

 

Saw one this morning not bad looking

 

The red one on the TV ad looks like it's made entirely of plastic, above in black looks better but a very very distant relation to the breathed on variety.

 

There's a bit missing from the front bumper.

Yyou are right about the Astra. It def looks like it has been designed by vauxhall. I thought the interior looked pretty good but thn it is different in the flesh.

Yet to see one though..

 

Think it looks OK on the exterior, interior is woeful though
