The rear lights are horrid. It's a good alternative family saloon though.

I think the interior is on par with a cheap Renault though.

Mitsu and Subaru really need to sort the interiors... actually Subaru needs to start from scratch
Never buy a Jap car if you want a decent interior!

Most of the people who complain about interiors are comparing them to BMW's, et al which cost like c

Don't you think though...without the badges you could confuse it with any top spec saloon ?

Something in between the Lexus ISF. a Ford or even...a Skoda ?

Very similar to the new Kia Pro-ceed in that respect. Loose the Kia badges and it'd hold its own against most of the other offerings available at the moment.

If fact, a worthwhile consideration if you're in the market for something like that, more so if you can debadge and de-grill it.

The STi example is a good one, those cars aren't meant to be clad in leather. They should be lightweight and minimal, its a rally replica FFS! I'm in the camp which says these cars are going soft with heavy plush interiors...

The family saloon is a different market though, and needs to have nice interior. If the Lancer and Impreza are entering that area a bit more, they prob need to buck up their ideas!
true, but then you aren't in denial about the shite quality

these cars can compete with the premium brands in only one area - performance

if that's what's most important - fine

but many people want both

course, if you rate Ikea, you'll probably be delighted with an Imprevo interior
