Chris.
That sounds more like a 70's Renault!

Indeed - the prospect of a 21 year old one would terrify me these days.

And an NSX...

Is it any wonder that the Honda S2000 has been hailed by perceptive drivers as a new paragon of roadworthiness, considering that the distribution of its masses..........L J K Setright

Ever since September of 2008, we have seen the fruits of the fiat money roots that Mises warned against almost a century ago. But modern free-market economists are as hostile to Mises's theory of the business cycle as they were hostile to Mises's theory of the economic irrationalism of socialism . . . until the Soviet Union fell. Then, they got religion, but they still never mention Mises. It was as if he had never lived....Gary North

Much as I trust Honda tech (if not techs) I am most definitely not keen on cars that are unnecessarily complex on the routine maintenance front. A four hour multi point oil change must be some sort of record.

It's a colossal grand complication - the dry-sumped Cosworth-cast engine has several drainage points, there's a DCT/motor/diff unit, a gearbox between the twin front motors, 27 heat exchangers...

And a complicated construction if it gets pranged.

No wonder it's allegedly other-worldly to drive on any road.

Makes my NA2 seem like a Caterham Seven with a Ford Kent.

I'm far too cowardly to countenance one.

So that's why oil changes are expensive, all those drain plug washers.

In warranty only I guess - same as most moderns. Just got to add it to the usual running costs

Trouble is, looking at Honda's terms, it appears the car only has a three year/100,000 km warranty and the extended guarantee isn't available for the NSX. That's not inspiring confidence

Yes, it is said it's not a very Honda-like engine, although only they could be responsible for the unusual included angle. Or Vicenzo Lancia...
