PorkyClicky

Car looks and sounds very nice, though seems a tad expensive to me (who knows little about what one of these things is worth )

Very nice indeed. Probably priced about right for a C2S, with a bit built in to be knocked off when a buyer wants to haggle.

(The wider Turbo-bodied version commands a few grand premium over the C2, even though it doesn't have any of the Turbo running gear, brakes etc.)

I'm eyeing up the 993 Targa immediately below it in the PH 993 classifieds. Probably a touch more than I can afford though, unless the buyer is willing to knock a couple of grand off to shift.... Interestingly, it was in the 'Trader for a while 2-3 months back so obviously didn't sell. Room to haggle a bit if he's looking to get rid, methinks!

I was about to say it was perfect until I noticed that it was a triptronic.

I am very keen to start researching used 993's next year. The 993 is the best looking 911 ever made IMO

(if you can live with the VERY dated interior - nothing wrong with it, but it's spartan in the extreme)

I've done little else over the past few months, Andy! PM me if I can assist in any way.

Niiice - priced about right, and as Mark says, wide body ones do command a few more readies.

I however have my eye on something else! Yellow in fact!

Given that you're posting on a thread about 993 C2Ss, you're not considering trading in your prime piece of British beef for a slice of German schnitzel like this, are you Rich.....?

Each to their own, Jamie. I personally think it's a much "prettier" design than the 996 - especially from the front.

They are holding their value better than 996s.
