Default Nissan GTR

Having had a S/C s2000 for a while, i decided I wanted something more reliable and chop it and my Clio Trophy for an R26. In the end it didn't really light my fire and the Nissan garage is next door to Renault, so i bit the bullet and ordered a GTR.

It finally arrived yesterday, now I'm having to run it in, which is rather frustrating, but first impressions are extremely good, in fact has far exceeded my expectations, its very comfortable and very fast even at 50% throttle. The grip is amazing and it feels so connected to the road!

But so far the most amazing thing about it is other peoples reactions! Everytime i park people come over for a chat, children especially love it, here are some of the things i have been asked over the last 24hours:
-Is that a Skyline?
-How many cc has it?
-Wow is that from fast and the Furious?
-Did that cost more that a million pounds?
-Did you buy it off that man from Top Gear?

So funny!

Heres a wee picture of it earlier...

Pic doesn't work.

I noticed a GTR outside my house the other day. It was white, and I looked out the window for maybe 10 or 15mins while I was on my laptop. No one gave it a second glance. In fact many kids crossed over the road to take pics of my car.

Just not special enough, IMO but glad you're happy with yours.

Congrats, I think they look great.

I sat in one at Goodwood last week as I'd like to by something a bit more interesting than the Civic! but the wife says it must have back seats, also may consider an Evora, dont really want a 911 or a TT.

Sorry, picture fixed!

The size and weight are of no consequence when you are moving at speed. Its feel light and chuckable and massively powerful. Its only at slower speeds were it feels heavy, parking and reversing is tricky but i suppose that will come with time.

Its clearly going to be hard on consumables, but every tank of petrol is a tank of fun

A Nissan dealer in Edinburgh has two in the showroom, I've spent my pocket money this year so that's where they have to stay.
