Listening to Radio 1 today and they're covering the subject of young road users having NOS kits on their cars.

Anyone had a NOS kit on their S?

 

Not on an S but there was a Le Mans regular who had a Dodge Viper with NOS that put out 800bhp at the rear wheels.

Quite fast apparently.

I've used it before, but not in my car. Good fun, but wouldn't want it on the S, bit too sharp delivery - would prefer to supercharge it, but then wouldn't we all??

 

Did anyone see the AA on BBC brekfast news this morning wanting N2O banned?!

They claimed that it was dangerous because of the power it gave.

Funnily enough not one mention to the fact that it's a pressurised cylinder full of oxydiser.

What's next, banning turbos?

interesting fact... the chap with the MR2 is a member of another forum I post on. He spent an age stripping his car down and rebuilding it making it absolutely immaculate....

 

Maybe he should have spent some of that time at the gym....
