This is exactly why you should be voting in the next election and choosing a party other than Labour.

edit - after re-read.
It's not just Speeding Tickets - it looks like it's all legal stuff.

I'm amazed that's even legal to change, if you see what I mean.
It seems to go against everything that the legal system stands for.

I guess we'll have a lot of motorists defending themselves and not paying for a lawyer.
That'll be fun - and waste even more govt money and time.

That's the point - this lot are too cripple-headed to think it through properly.

They're trying to abolish trial by jury, since most people won't be able to pay. Except they'll end up on legal aid in Strasbourg and the Gov't will get slaughtered by the compo.

I appreciate that these are not taxes but next will be the taxes on:

breathing (both in and out)
Not being below the poverty line, i.e. the you've got 40pence left in your pocket and we want it tax
The "you've not claimed that / you have claimed that on expenses tax"

Boston tea party anyone?

Well, I've signed the pettion (for what it's worth!).

THis really has turned into a sham of a country. The ordinary Citizen (oh, forgot, we're subjects) get shat on more and more.

A strong right wing leader could really clean up come next election with some hard hitting policies that address the rubbish nation we've been left by these leftie do-gooders.

Unless we have a revolution before that!

Thanks for posting that article, I had no idea of the intended legislation changes.

My choice of party at the next election has now been made and it is not the current bunch of crooked bastards.
