Default NSX

A good article on the NSX in this month's Classic and Sports Car" magazine.

Just thought I say that.

Nothing more...

How many times does it mention Ayrton Senna?

5+ - Garbage
4 - Heard it all before
3 - Average
2 - Worth a look
1 - I'll enjoy this
0 - Probably a fantastic article

NSX values are now daft. The only thing more unrealistic than an NSX in terms of price is a 997 GT3RS 4.0.

Only once as far as I can see on a first skim read.

The article suggests a starting price of £25k - I haven't seen any under £35k

Pistonheads has a 91 auto with 70k miles for £26.5k.

Absolute dogsh1te. You really need a 3.2 manual.

So £40k realistically.

I love them dearly and am happy for the people who own them now.

But as long as people think that 'Ayrton Senna designed the NSX don't you know.' the prices will be too high and even if I did have one, how could I drive it without panicking about damaging it?

I wouldn't say prices have risen to the same extent as a lot of the market (have a look at the price of old Fords if you really want a laugh).

Irrespective of which, the whole market's heading for a fall and the only questions are how soon and how much.

Never driven one which i feel is probably my loss, back in 97 a guy who lived near me had one and it sounded lovely, at the time i was a kid hooning about in an Astra GTE (16v of course)

I wouldnt pay £40k for one, they're a bit large for me i think and so is that price

I agree

C&C article is OK, only mentions the 'Senna Connection' once in passing.

Me three.

But don't dismiss the NA1; they still drive beautifully as they're slightly lighter & more visceral.
