It might be down to my problem with Japanese metal. They generally always > taxis.
the saloons end up as taxis
the sports versions (with very few exceptions) end up as chav wagons
the Asian beat boys will love the GTR and it will suffer just like the Supra

Usually with big shiny Bangra-chav alloys
Probably about the second worst thing one could do to an NSX.
Actually, the first; stacking one really epically would be preferable to Bangra-chav alloys.
I wonder at what point someone wakes up and thinks 'I know, I will put some hideously styled and oversized alloys on my car, that will make it look cool'?
Where do you get to in life to think that works?

It's lack of knowledge, sense of proportion and probably a personal insecurity.
So much so that many manufacurers bugger up their own cars, in order to separate the vapid from their money.
Same way that fashion victims will wear the most c untastic clothes, because they're 'in' and oblivious to the fact of what they look like on them.

think about it
who do you know, with any taste at all
who still thinks gold jewellery looks good?
I think its the US culture that seems to be rubbing off over here nowadays.
I remember being at a motor show recently, there was a stand dedicated to big shiny wheels for 4x4's and other footballer related motor tat.
People were glued onto the stand as there were pictures of footballers, boxers and other thick as turd blokes posing with their shiny wheels.
Utter tw@ts the general public. They dont know what is good and what isnt. They will rather sit back and listen, watch and admire what gets fed to them.

If I had some spare cash then I think I'd tuck away a NSX for the weekend.

the only astonishing thing is that more people don't realise this
and exploit it

back o/t, I still think the NSX (manuals) will hold a good price for the forseeable future
dramatic appreciation may be some way off
