old v's new
My old man has an austin healy frog eyed sprite, along with a V8 MGB. Both lovely cars and the MG was our family car in the 80's BUT as much as I love classic cars I still prefer modern cars and I feel we are living the best age in car terms. It wont be long until we all have to drive boring electric autonomous boxes. Enjoy them while we can...............
Hope my car is in as good nick as this in a few years, it was great driving down to the MOT station, got more attention than my S2000

And I thought my engine bay was clean,

Underneath is just as clean,

Ha you are partly right, the guy who first owned the car only had it to go on holiday with, but his wife said it was to big, so he sold it to his neighbour who was paranoid it was going to rot away, so when it was 3 years old it was stripped down to a bare shell and fully repainted it, then rebuilt it greasing every thing as he went, and that's the way it's being ever since, so technically it hasn't being restored, more preserved before it got that far,
every thing on the car is original to the car,
every thing on the car is original to the car,
