Interesting - finally catching up with Nissan/Renault & BMW...

Base Acura RLX has PAWS - that's precision all wheel steering.

With compact electronic actuators (they can toe-in both rears for extra stability under severe braking) maybe it's an idea whose time has finally come.

I used to own two Preludes, one third gen 4WS, one fourth gen 2.3i 4WS. Out of the two, I actually enjoyed driving the third gen more - the four wheel steering worked (sadly the 2.3 had issues with that). I still think the 4th gen is a bloody attractive car though (though the one I owned did have a few major rust issues, along with the lack of 4WS).

Usually dry solder joints on the ECU, or a faulty wheel sensor. The old mechanical one was pretty bulletproof.



The 4G is a bit simpler than the 5G (basically, it doesn't react to rate of turn of the column to allow for over-correction) but they are essentially the same.

P-AWS is the next level.
