Fantastic stuff.

It's funny, but what today would be considered utter bodgery was quite routine the 1960s. Glassfibre matting & a surform file could make anything.

The Jaguar triple-carb backfire was quite infamous. Stochiometric wasn't a commonly-used word; simply flood the bugger with fuel & hope for the best. And we think Renaults are inflammable today...

Our E-Type did that and managed to set fire to the air filter, fortunately flooring it managed to suck enough air in to blow it out, but yeh, scary stuff!
