So whereabouts in Bristol is your g/f, Matt?

Perhaps Ciderboy and you (& any other Bristol-based chaps) would be up for going to the pub one evening or something?

Old bastards have trouble distinguishing speed and sound. I have a chav zorst on mine, so i always get ppl complaining i am "roaring past like a lunatic" when i am infact doing the speedlimit.

She lives in Stoke Gifford, near Parkway station; I see her one or two nights a week and most weekends, so there is the potential for a mini-meet. Mind you, I was supposed to go to one in my native Notts with Mytse and a few other members and I got sidetracked! Oops!

I've got to stop retaliating, though, because it can make me look as idiotic as them.
Agreed. I always used to be bad at that (possibly not to your level though! ). But since I've got the S I feel more 'vulnerable', and I have a very visible, obvious car I don't want damaged.

So I've calmed down. The questions to ask (in order) are:-
1) Do I really care about that stranger?
2) Is it worth getting wound up about?
3) Is it worth the risk to me and my P&J?

Only go to the next if you answer "yes" to the previous question. By the time you've got to #3 you're calmer and more aware of the consequences.

At one of the Midlands meets, I remember some bird coming out of her house and start taking reg numbers down.

Now, we all had just turned onto this road, so didn't have time to get much speed up, so it was probably the noise.

What a cow though.

Heh - whoops indeed!

Well there's plenty of pubs around there to meet for a pint and a chat...

To avoid hijacking this thread even more, I'll pop up a new one in the meets section

I'm with you Havoc. I'd like to say in my defence that I am NOT a violent person, and I have never got out of the car ever for any road rage type thuggery. The worst I do is a bit of main beam retaliation, some left foot brushing of the brakes if I'm being tailgated and obviously odd incidents like last night.

Good Gods, I'm sinking to their level! HELP ME!!!

Another slightly shameful thing I do is when I'm driving at night and I overtake someone on a two-lane road, only for them to keep their ing main beam lights on behind me, as if to make some point about overtaking.
At this point i brake as hard as i can for the dog/deer that's just run out.

I had a crazy old cyclist on a recent meet. Que the "S2 MOF, S2MOF" shouting smileys

I do admit that I cut the corner slightly, but he was on a bike and right in the inside. I think the reason why he was so upset, was due to fact that I was in 1st gear VTEC, Pie and FieldL just blasted around the same corner with their monster exhausts and my car is yellow.

I gave him a wave as he looked a tad annoyed!! He wasn't even on his bike by the time I went past, but a combination of VTEC, yellow and lots of noise must have got to him.

It's the same with oldies in the towns I drive through. If I really want to to abuse and irritate and oldie giving me greif, I sometimes do 20-25mph in 1st
