What more are you after ??

It's a Porsche that's another 911 wanabee, of course there's no point.

Even the 911 is a 911 wanabee these days.

Well I test drove the S version and I found that dull and it had more power - this has to basically be a Porsche badge "to go", in a McDonalds type voice.

Expensive, low spec as standard. As Kelk mentioned (I tested the S too) great chassis not enough power so the non-S version must be quite poxy.

man + wife + 2 kids +dog = Cayman

Its just Porsche moving into a diffrent market segment, targetting people who need more space then the 911 etc. makes sense from their point of view.

The same could be said of the NSX. People still buy those!

They sold 2 last year

They are 60k.

They (Porsche) will sell bucketloads of this.

Hardly a comparison is it.

The Cayman's a two-seater... no more space than a 911...

I drove two examples of the Cayman S recently and they're very competent but soulless and manufactured to a certain level; an MR coupe should be an awesome car, but because Porsche doesn't want the Cayman to tread on the 911's toes, it's 'hobbled' to be not as good as the 911. Which is sad
