I'd love to do this sort of thing at some point in the future.

I should be more in the thick of it this year but I doubt I'll see a grid like that

You got to keep your original number too - the savings on the stickers must've really helped with the budget

It is different - just the feeling of 30 cars thundering along, you can feel it in your chest as you're driving! And actually quite well behaved in the corners

And unfortunately I had to replace the numbers to get the new white square DOH!

Top stuff Jo

Really good thing is the lap times though - close to the pace of the leaders in the first race of the season in a new class is excellent

Well by close, 1 second - doesn't sound much but it is quite a lot in the grand scheme of things, but tbh top 3 is so far away that doesn't bother me - first aim is top 20, then top 15, then top 10 etc.

Good plan - one step at a time.

The leaders have probably been setting up their cars for a few seasons now so they'll be very finely tuned.

When I moved from standard club racing to NKRA class - (National) I was 3-4 seconds off the pace This was after a few wins in regional races!

It took the season to catch up, but I was within 0.5 sec towards the end. Only problem was it took a fair chunk of budget to get there!

1 second off pace on those sort of lap times is pretty impressive this soon IMO
