Awww thank you guys The difference is this year now we don't come back to this circuit, so no chance to capitalise on it! But I'm hoping that the more circuits you learn, the quicker you learn the new ones, if you see what I mean !

The rest of the season is Mallory, Oulton, Pembrey, (I'm not doing Cadwell or Croft), then BH GP, Snetterton, BH Indy, and then Spa

I think so.

You learn how to learn.

Fingers crossed! I'm hoping that you can categorise the corners - up til now my only experience was Brands & Lydden which are sort-of similar, but now I'm hoping that circuits will be made up of "hairpins like Druids", "long right handers like Copse" etc. etc.

I have driven at Oulton and Snetterton (track days) and need to book one at Pembrey, and I've got one booked the day before raceday at Mallory - just not sure whether I should go to Mallory on a different day too (they do half-day testing on Wednesday mornings) - has anybody driven there, is it an easy circuit to learn?

Looking forward to seeing your beast Graham!

As soon as I can get used to the new software for the video camera I will upload the footage. It was great to see Jo out there and the pack is a quite impressive sight.

The thing I didn't like is that from the pit wall you get to see sweet FA.

Really proud of the nervous self doubting bag of race suit that Jo is 2 minutes before she gets in the car

Great stuff Jo. Really enjoy the insight.

I'm hoping the Caterham Academy is still going in a few years time, because I really need to have a proper bash at racing and that seems to be the best way to dip your toe in.

The Father in Law is already down as chief mechanic.

As a Dad I just need to fill comfortable commiting that much weekend time. Probably be 3/4 years time....

Fantastic!! It shouldn't matter what position you come what is important is that you are enjoying it then nothing else matters

Remember though, women are crap drivers

How are you in the wet? Chances are you may be quicker than those finely tuned at the front.

If everything goes to plan I Hope to be in a similar position shortly

Balls to that - you need your freedom tbh you just choose the races you want to enter.

The little ones can go and watch.

If you can find a 0-6 month racing suit let me know.

With two under under 20 months I don't think I would be capable of fathering any more children if I had proposed a season of racing.

On top of the Bristol City season ticket.

On top of the golf.

etc etc

But as you say, once they are old enough to watch...

I was watching the Ginetta G50 racing on the box recently.
Nice to see a local Colin White (his brother flies toy plane with us) doing quite well.
What was really amazing was him remembering me fitting out his red top GT car about ten years ago at CWS in Glastonbury.
I thought I had a good memory, but wow!

Good luck Jo, Im seeing race ready G20s for <10K and its so, so tempting!!!
