Radar Warning Receivers
I get most cameras on my GPS but after a 3000 mile drive around europe I'm a bit nervous about some of those mobile sites and also cameras not shown on your GPS. Are the warning thingies any good? Any suggestions of a good choice?
Downside is that by the time you get a warning chances are they've got a reading unless you pick up some side lobe reflection.
Plus side is you're more likely to pick up those readings at longer range.
In summary at close range chances are they're next to useless, but at longer ranges (I think I was told 500metres +) they give you some chance to respond before they get a good reading

I have a Bell 990i which works across Europe and the US.
Picks up laser a well.
Saved me a few times.
Though they are red hot on them across the channel
