Default Random Vandalism

Makes my blood boil that there are people capable of this. A bloke I work with spent six months working on a clapped out old Mini, making it look - and drive - like something a bit special.

It was parked on his driveway overnight, and when he left the house for work he was greeted with this:

He seems pretty unphased by it. I would be ****** livid.

maybe it wasn't random?

vandalising a car is a nice way of getting even when face to face isn't viable

if it was truly random vandalism, then it's just the crap world we live in

most of us can expect tit to happen at least once

Some people are just thugs and scum.
I used to know of a youth who would carry a penknife and use it to cut the canvas cover of every spare tyre he saw – he kept a tally.
Another teenager was famed for using a centre punch to smash car windows – he didn’t steal stuff from the cars – he just like the sound of the glass smashing.
Someone else used to love car running along rows of parked cars denting bonnets roofs and boots as he jumped from car to car.

Some people are just bastards and seem to have to smash anything that they can’t posses.
Maybe jealousy, maybe stupidity, maybe trying to impress peers – whatever it is it’s not something I’ve ever understood.

It's an interesting point, and I was pondering the same thing earlier. He doesn't seem to think he's due any revenge from anyone.

He does live on a fairly busy road in fairly rough area, so I'd be more inclined to think it was a random act.

They ignored the X5 which was also parked on his drive.

Was it all 4 arches and were they missing?
Someone might have just wanted to customise their own mini and not want to pay for the parts.

I assumed that someone had nicked it for their own car but to just remove it and put it on the ground..... I'm getting to the point now where nothing like this surprises me anymore.
