RANT (Off-topic)
Yesterday I had the dubious pleasure of getting my car towed away after forgetting to move it when the meter ran out
Luckily I haven't taken delivery of my S2000 yet...
I have to say that the removal company (once I remembered and ran back to the car) were very courteous and I cannot complain at all about the way I was treated through the whole procedure (the man in the truck even offered me a lift to the compound!)
It's my own stupid fault, got sidetracked and completely forgot about the car out on the road, so I'm not at all bitter...
However I was thinking, in one of those random ways that you do, that in less than three hours my car was towed away, but cars that have been plainly abandoned in the countryside and on ring roads take weeks... Surely if they can be that efficient with my car, they can do the same with abandoned / burned out ones?
Just thinking out loud
