I immediately thought of Mike Hawthorn's fatal accident on the Hog's Back when I saw the pic.

Not that into Jags. Could it be a Mark 1 Saloon? Someone well-informed will soon be along to put us right.

It's a MK2 - Chrome window frames.

You can tell the engine size from the background colour of the badge.

Didn't you see Morse? Although strictly, that was a V8 Daimler disguised as an ex-plod Jagwah.

Hope you don't mind me joining your thread MB but I need the help of the identification experts and as they are already on your case I would like them to tell me what the car is in front on this oil that I snapped at the TR restorers today. Looks like an Austin Healey 3000 behind to me?
