Then he passed me at easily over 120 on his back wheel whilst glancing over!
I saw a bike doing 120mph on one wheel on Saturday.

I was riding pillion on it at the time.

Or so I'm told...
Certainly used to be the case. but more and more of them are now monitoring all the in and out lanes. Fake number plates are the way forward allegedly.

Or controversially, maybe we could all stick to the speed limit.

Nah, f*** that!

I don't buy that it's ever been "safe" to switch lanes. The cameras aren't "paired" - all the cameras at the start send plates into one feed, all the cameras at the end into another. Then they compare the two lists for matches and the appropriate times. The lane you were in at either time is irrelevant.

Absolutely.

I really hope "they" are not watching 24 hrs on these thing and have some leeway.

North M6-they have a lone SPECS camera after the roadworks have finished just before a bridge-the NSL sign is hidden in the central reservation after the bridge.

Remember coming back from LM 2 years ago. Was playing cat and mouse at 120 all the way along the M6 with an Alfa at 2am-he sailed through 40mph specs at the same speed

Rubbish.

If you happen to move into a lane not being monitored, they might not, but simply swapping lanes does not work.

This comment comes from the manufacturer admitting that they are neither designed or tested to to deal with cars that have swapped lanes .

Last year on the M25 early morning I realised I had been pushing on hard in a spec controlled zone , saw an arctic up ahead and just tucked very tight to the back of it as we left the area .

I never heard anything

or a set of fake plates, no problem then you can drive through any camera you like - I bought a car once with a 2 and a 1 the wrong way round, took me a while to realise that it was a dealer bought car so their fault!
I wonder how often this happens, my Nan bought a Corrola years ago that used to be part of a fleet and they'd somehow got two mixed up and put the wrong plates (almost identical, just two numbers switched) on the wrong cars.

She didn't realise until renewing the tax and the post office told her it was wrong!
