Default Replacing the S for a bit

I've started running out of ideas for cars to look at for replacing the S, had a look at a few round here, but could do with some 'inspiration'

I'm looking for something fun, but reliable - doesnt need to be a complete beater, as I work from home, and only need to travel to offices on occasion

any ideas?

As you know I sold an Imola Orange S2000 for around the same as your is worth and I had a resultant budget that was pretty much exactly the same as well (

Leon Cupra R... plenty around, and they have taken the depreciation hit already.

Well built, easily (and cheapily) tuneable to 265bhp, Brembo brakes and quite good fun. Worth looking at IMO.

If I didn't need the space and wasn't too bothered about the reduced power, I'd get a used MX5.

(If I didn't need the space and was bothered about the power, I'd get a nearly new ZZR1400 .)

Thanks guys

Probably going to be a Scooby at the end of the day - brother in law owns a big Scooby breakers yard, so parts and the like are easy to come by

Thought about a few of the other before - hard to move on from something like the S unless you're going for something more expensive.

I did think about an RX7 at one point - but the engine rebuilds kind of put me off - would love to own one one day - but that'll be when I can afford a pure weekend 'toy'
