You can't fit the key in the door lock either?

Usually a shield plate, to prevent scrotes from popping the bonnet from the outside...

I'm sure there's a way to power a dead Mk4 by jacking it up and getting positive to the reverse light switch feed on the gearbox and earthing to pretty much anywhere you want. You'll only fry the ECU if your earth leads are shot and try and start (it'll draw the current through the ECU PCB)

No update to be honest!

I have no idea what to do.

I cannot get inside to pop the bonnet
I cannot attempt to get the wheel arch liner off because the locking wheel nut is inside the car
I have tried taking the front grill off and pulling the release but to no avail, I haven't looked yet but I may try putting a screwdriver in the turn the latch but think there is a guard.
I cannot get a battery charger anywhere because they need a socket and my garage is away from my house!

Only option tk would seem would be to force entry unless there Re other recommendations. Or even how to do it without putting glass everywhere!

RAGE!

I'm really surprised there's no manual key unlock. I would YouTube the door, maybe you can access the lock via the window seal?

Or the keyhole is hidden?

No there is no hidden lock and I'm not sure how effective a coat hanger would be, worth a go though!

Get another battery and some jump leads and connect the battery to what ever you can get to under the car.

If you think you can gain access through the wheel liner then simply hammer an impact socket of the locker (2mm smaller usually works) and that will get it off
