If nothing against the style... on something from the era.
But modern-replica leaves me cold.
If I saw some one driving that, I suspect I would want to avoid them.

I like the idea of the classic shapes with modern technology underneath. There's a company that does it with E-Types amongst others and they're very impressive. Can't remember what they're called though???

years ago i drove a RHD '55 Gullwing to Goodwood for the owner to take round the track.
a very pleasent car to drive but the windows don't wind down due to the shape of the doors. they lever open slightly or you have to stop to remove them and stick them in the boot.
i was pleasently suprised as to how well it drove but not a car to throw around unless your ready to work very hard. i expect the modern version will be a dodle.
i think there were eight RHD cars built for the Australian market.
