I think a lot of the time they get an adrenaline rush, get up, run off, and then find a quiet place to die ...

...the dent will pop out.

As for the deer, I don't know. The garage were disappointed I hadn't slit its throat. No thanks. I prefer pizza.

No damage to my Lotus, GRP is very forgiving.
friend of mine did this but thought the beast was dead and put it in the back of a 240GLT

you can guess what happened next

it came round and kicked the crap out of the interior of the car before he could open the tailgate

on a slightly different note, I have seen dozens of pheasants at the rear of my house and in my garden recently

unfortunately for them, there is wheat (I think) growing fast in the field now

this provides perfect cover for the fox, and once a week I see him/her carrying a plump pheasant

back to roadkill - there are definitely fewer and fewer hedgehogs about down here

I'm more scared of hitting a stag full on. Our stags are the largest in Scotland (mild winters + no snow = more grass and therefore bigger stags). I heard someone got an antler though his forehead a few years ago in the highlands. Not exactly the best way to go.

I've seen other people post about the risks (euan, beardie?)

I think it happens down south, but it's a much rarer event

I don't like to think about it tbh

In Scotland if you kill it you can keep it
In England it's still classed as poaching.

However if you see someone else run into a deer then it's fair game (get it)

I don't know, I could think of much worse.
Plus cool story for the grandkids

We have a ban on dusk driving in the Highlands for just that reason. Charles' brother is in the shooting and conservation dept and they had to do a cull a couple of years ago near the A9 (which let's face it, is a crazy stretch at the best of times)

The campaigners are hilarious

The deer are culled anyway, The landowners have quotas they must meet or the poor things starve to death.

Bloody townies!
