Ah the famous Yellowbird lap - pretty awesome stuff.

If anyone is interested (yeah right) I have a bunch of in-car laps of the Ring including the following:

Scooby Impreza
Saxo VTS (me!)
Lotus Elise
VX220
M3 CSL
S2000 (me again!)

Oh, and the Ring is open the whole Easter weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday. Anyone got the balls to try it?

hehehe

How big is the vid of your S2000 lap? And can you post the times against each of them?

Ben,

A few pals and I will be there that weekend. We've just bought an old BMW 328i Coupe as a dedicated ring car. Arriving Sat 10, leaving Tue 13.

You gonna be there in the S?

Si

P.S. I'd love to see those vids!

Sorry for the delay in replying chaps - the buggers have made me work during the daytime! : )

I'll have to check how big the vid is tonight, but it might be hostable on Yahoo or similar.

As for times, IIRC here's an approximate guide:

Scooby Impreza 8m 50s
Saxo VTS (me!) 9m 50s
Lotus Elise 9m 25s
VX220 9m 30s
M3 CSL 7m ? (very fast!)
S2000 8m 50s

Yep, I'm taking my beastie back to the Ring for the fourth time, in company with an Elise and VX220. We're staying at the Berghotel Hohe Acht (cheap, close, friendly and huge breakfast!) and will be in the area from Friday until Tuesday so keep an eye out for us!

Cheers

Ben

A-ha

Just to give you a taster, head over to the following:

http://maddock.uzipp.com/ns/vids/index.htm

and click on Ring of Fire - its big but worth it!

The speedster lap is also pretty good!

Enjoy
