I hope the independent is good - I checked the oil at the weekend and it was black, despite them saying it'd had a B service (which includes filter & oil change).
The B service should also include: "check the heating works correctly". They didn't mention the fact that the blower direction doesn't actually work...
Ho-hum. Once summer arrives, these will be minor distractions away from the reasonably-sorted driving experience.
But rating so far for dealer = 3 out of 5.

I'm very impressed with the handling so far - it feels very go-karty and is quite a firm ride. It'll be even more so once I change the bushes to PU ones...
It doesn't have an unneccessarily huge waste gate. Apparently, the bigger it is, the more useless it is: there's an optimum size based on the size of the turbo/intake pipe/whatever. At the moment, it's still on stock, until it appears necessary to change it. But there's other things that need changing first (tyres, TIK pipe, exhaust

It turns out that Smarts don't have a sump plug (even the Brabuses) so the oil has to be syphoned out of the dipstick tube. This means that every oil change leaves around 300ml of old oil in the bottom!
