Cheers guys yes the car is for the race track, hillclimbs an sprints..Was thinking of getting the car motd too so would make it road leagal...

I picked the s2000 engine beacause it was in the car previously an you can mount it right back. All the cylinders are behind the front struts therfore we have ultimate handling, if i was to put an m3 engine in it would be front heavy..

I also love all honda vtec engines especially the f20 an k20, dont think because i killed an s2000 i dont like them

I love hondas but nothing is going to be this light, the car ready is going to weight around 875kg

With simple bolt ons and a tune you will see around 260BHP and a few weight reductions that puts it at around 300BHP per ton, thats quicker than a e60 m5

Really? I reckon between 950kg and 1000kg. 875 is what i'd expect a Stripped K20'ed Civic/CRX to be. You have a bigger shell, heavier engine/box combo, propshaft, differential etc.

Good luck though.

Ok the car is a 1984 shell it has fibreglass quarter panels, wings, bonnet an bumpers, all windows removed apart from front windscreen, it was the previous owner told me he weight it an thats what it was, but i will get it weight again for myself

I have not ruled out a supercharger yet, ive been in talks with the tuner in silverstone who said he can put rotrex supercharger on i will see 450 bhp no problem, this would make one fast machine, the gearing in the car is already built for acceleration with a top speed of around 130 mph

TTS are on here mate. You'd need more room in the engine bay too especially at the front.

Right. The fibreglass is going to help, but I still think 875 is optimistic.

Not that it matters as you'll still have the type of engine/chassis combo comparable to an E30 M3 - no bad thing of course

Yeah, get it weighed as a datum

Yes tts thats the one he seemed a resonable chap an was very helpfull when i was asking him questions...

Think he was talking about the supercharger that goes where the air-con was so maybe i dont need as much room, mate have you seen the amount of room there is anyhow? Loads of room there
