Thanks Steve.

A bit of technical help please.

My pics look much sharper on my PC then they do when I post them on here.

I reduce their size using windows Image Re-sizer, then download them to flickr where they are hosted. Just wondered if you know whay they are not so sharp when posted?

If you look at the pic posted by euan above, it is much sharper than mine (although my pic of the same bend was no so sharp to start with), but it's a good example.

Any ideas?

Dave, looking at the two photos above, your photo was taken though the windscreen where as Euan's look as though It wasn't.

You may wat to take a look at Picasa, it is a simple, free app that allows you to make basic edits to photos, including sharpening. I use this when I am traveling to make quick edits before uploading to flickr.

Windows Image Resizer is rubbish. It really screws up the quality of your photos. I usually use Gimp, but you can only do the photos one by one, rather than as a batch. Can you do that in Picasa?

Excellent photos regardless, and the weather looks fantastic.
