A common problem. A cheap localised repaint is the only answer if you think
its worth it. Ford introduced a clear vinyl protector for the bottom of the B
pillar to prevent chipping then rust, available from main dealers.

Its worth looking after a Ka because when I put mine up for sale I honestly
had over 40 enquiries over a week and it sold instantly. If I were ever to
buy and sell again I would try to source Ka's with pas and a/c and also the
Ford Connect is in great demand.
