Default Show and Shine - XTR2

Okay John (RTeyp) called me recently to do some polishing work on his and Steve's track car in preparation for next weeks photoshoot. Now the car is a mixture of curves and CF bling mixed in with some decal so it wasn't an easy job but here are some pics.

John's car with the XTR and garage in the background

Before pics, well after washing;

Followed by Claybar;

Then another wash, before drying;

Then we start;

Some PITA Decal, rotary was too powerful for this so had to use the PC on these;

Then after swirl removal, polishing and then sealing, final results;

And then there's John;

Cheers Lee a massive help, the transformation was stunning, its now tucked up in its box away from mad Portuguese workman.

I just hope Tracey (the model) doesn't spoil the pictures like I do !

Not sure whether its a clothes on or off jobbie next Saturday but I will try and sneek some picies onto the site - AE beware.

Did you go for a spin?

Nice results, would be good to see the before and after close up of the swirly scratches on the wheel arch too.

No spin, we were both very tired managed about five hours worth of work in about five. Another reason for fewer before pictures, oh and John had started preping the car for me

Not an easy car to clean, make the S a doddle. I would like to do more work on the car to finish it off, some parts were not easy to get to and needed to be done by hand. Maybe a rerun later where we'll perfect it. Much more fun though and a change for silverstone. Oh and CF soaks up Poorboys EX-P
