There used to be a Bagheera and Murena specialist here in Newcastle upon Tyne - IIRC they now work on MGs...

The three-abreast seating was always kinda cool - a concept Matra took from their aviation experience allegedly.

That was a Matra. Like the pretty but fragile 530 LX before it.

So was the Espace and that originally used Simca 1309/Chrysler Alpine running gear, before Renault got involved and it switched to an 18/25 platform.

Apparently, BL and Chrysler Europe were in cooperation talks in the mid 1970s.

Until BL realised that CE was in an even worse far king mess than they were...

God, you could hear the piston slap from two streets away on a Talbot! They fitted a PSA Diesel and it was quieter...
