I had some illiterate steam up behind me on the M25 average speed limit section round Heathrow way, flashing his lights and getting all steamed up as I was trolling along at 50mph or 40 mph ro whatever the limitm is - as I was in the third lane on the anti-clockwise side but travelling clockwise there was nowhere for me to go to - so I washed him a few times and kept going. Certianly made me

 

But the M25 doesn't have average speed cameras

It has a series of digital GATSO's.

Most of the time when I am on it, people speed up and then slow down for the next scamera as they also do on the M42.

A complete waste of time and still has the same affect of bunching up traffic.

SPECS is sh1t... a series of 15 miles of 50mph SPEC's on the M1 where there are roadworks, but they remain on at 10pm at night long after the workers have gone home and the motorway is in perfect condition.

30mph SPEC's are even worse. They are widely used in Nottingham and it's scary to see some of the driving as people are 100% concentrating through fear on not exceeding the 30mph limit.
