Smashed up the backside
It was about 8 or 10 of the buggers, they flew up then back down again, swerving could have been dangerous, running them over could additionally caused issues - I shouldnt have to worry about whats behind me - visibility for the other driver was perfect - they obviously were too close and not paying attention.
Its the zimmer in my sig - I dont really want it back.
I dont think there is any way that it isnt her fault - she doesnt have a leg to stand on - I have a police incident number to back this up.

Sorry to hear about it mate.
She does have a stump of a leg to stand on and might possibly try to argue that birds in the road did not contstitute an "emergency" and an emergency braking manuver wasn't an apropriate response.
