The 38 route (Victoria to Clapton Pond) no longer has bendy buses. They were all replaced several weeks ago by new double deckers.

Thee 73 is still bendy though.

 

Traffic wise in London there are good days and bad days. Or should that be bad days and worse days.

I principally drive between Islington and Richmond or Islington and Hayes.
I can do each journey in 40 minutes outside of rush hour. I usually allow an hour.

This morning Islington to Hayes took 90 minutes. After an hour I was at Tottenham Court Road. No indication as to why though.

Islington to Richmond is 11.1 miles. I have run it in two hours. The overland train takes 45 minutes to 1 hour and the tube takes an hour.

 

I'd move West if I were you, having said that, it takes about an hour from Rickmansworth to Canary Wharf, which is 30 miles or so.

 

Or permanently work from home

 

M-B had a recall to stop the Shitaros combusting, sadly.

They'd not put a long enough pipe between air compressor & tank to dissipate the heat and so the air tank overheated & caught fire.

It was a real schoolboy error. Bit like having a bus that long, when vertical is better.
