I'm told that the general maintenance costs are very good.
Comparable to most UK cars.
My only concern is finding a garage I trust with it.

Still jealous and wondering if I could justify one...what have you done

I reckon the engine will be simple and bombproof
It's a case of lots of cylinders, lots of capacity - does exactly what it says on the tin

Great choice. A mate of mine runs a '78 Pace Car which does the trip to Le Mans and back each year. Paid 10k for it and there was nothing that got more attention at Le Mans - he was even invited to take part in the driver's parade. Plus LHD in France is nice too
For that sort of money, you can't go wrong. It'll turn more heads than a 360, 911 etc and has a great community around it - my mate gets invited to meets/bbq's on pretty much a weekly basis.
Granted there's a few of them into line dancing but each to his own

Lovely car Fletch, one I've always thought about owning whenever I see one, wish you all the best with it
That's certainly no worse than my TVR.
Have you found out how much rear boots cost yet? They're pretty enormous aren't they?

The Avg reading at the weekend was saying 22mpg. After a bit of a spirited drive yesterday, it was reading 18 this morning.

I had to do the same at work this morning as the security guard wasn't at the gatehouse. I need to get a long stick. Won't be using a multistory
