Graham, really pleased to see you finally got it, I cannot think of anyone more deserving of such a beautiful car, now I think its time for a blog describing living with a 430.

Oh and where's the bloody video of Carters face when he saw Daddies new car.

Thanks Lee, appreciate that (and for keeping it quiet last week!) I am doing a page on Facebook and will publish it soon (as soon as I stop pissing about in the Clyde Tunnel!). Carter doesn't know about the car until tomorrow. Sadly, I think it may rain but we've got all week together and I am hoping to take it to Arran. That'll be interesting in numerous ways. The Chief Officer on the ship is on standby to assist getting the car on board and making sure it's away from everyone else (he's a friend, which helps...) and I've just been offered parking facilities in Lochranza as dad's garage is 4" too narrow! The car is enormous.

Look forward to hearing what the ongoing costs are.

What's the insurance premium?

Crap, I knew I'd forgotten something. Seriously, it's hard to say. I've got a combined policy covering three cars between two different addresses, all fully comp, all Euro-spec and all with full roadside/home start. The total is £2k annually, with the Ferrari down at 6k miles a year. The premium is 'low' because of my supercar experience and that i've used a specialist insurers who know me. They don't even use NCD as a contributing factor.
