So what about this one? Spotted in Cornwall this summer, driven by a middle aged bloke, not a blonde. Note the carefully adjusted BMW roundel:

Was it

Coincidently, I spotted a pink ford KA with Barbie written all down the side of it, being driven by a bloke last week

I agree that it is despicable to use screws etc to misrepresent the letters etc on a number plate but what possible cause could you have to complain about putting a space in the wrong place?
Nob head on his website makes claims about it being difficult to read.

I ask you.
If you had a "quick look" at a number plate. Which of these two would you think it's easier to remember.

I know which one I'd remember

And here is his eloquently titled "C_U_N_T OF THE MONTH" for Aug 2007

Big fecking deal.
The Man (men) is a cock of the highest order.

The site owner, not the car owner
Bad example; it's fairly obvious it's a zero, but I've seen too many I cannot decipher. So the point is there.

That is a particularly dumb-ass pickup truck with a particularly dumb-ass plate. Its owner may be a perfectly nice chap, but I'd put money on that probably not being the case.

I mean, like grafitti, there were always more embarrassing examples than there were works of art. But now they're so commonplace, they've become exactly that: A tad common.

I sort of see the point of his website, although i dont agree with all his commentts on all the regs, but i would say that some people really do take the piss with their plates and should probably be nicked for it! Bit of mis-spacing never hurt anyone but altering letters etc is another matter..

I wonder how he spells "hooligan?" Presumably the Irish way as well.

I wonder if he's an unintentional racist or just thick?
