It's an amazing track, but in that vid I'm still 6 seconds or more behind the leader per lap Mostly at the bus stop and La Source exit I think, and La Source is a big deal because we're flat from there all the way to Les Combes so it affects our speed for along time. Also not using enough of the track and turning in too early - all normal errors for me!

Graham - yep all sorted. The original seller......

64 cars on the grid must have been mayhem.? Onward and upward next year.

Oooh, there's some nice fast corners on that track! (Pencils that in the for future sometime). Result wise I'd say that's a pretty good, some nice round the outside action there!

BTW: Did you need an International license for the race or was there some sort of special arrangement?

Graham, you at Lydden at the end of Oct?

Matt

You need a National A.

Some v fast corners, although I personally prefer the wriggly bits

Results are ok - the action got a lot more heated as the race went on, just can't figure out why the cameras both failed

To give you an idea what Race 2 was like, here is someone else in-car camera for the first lap in the wet:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJXMFcWl1uk

I was further forward in the grid at the start, and I don't run a windscreen so this camera's view is similar to what I saw - except the camera is higher up and didn't have a proper face full of spray.

But it gives you a rough idea what the visibility was like

I've just watched those, and wow, that is something I could never do, you're much braver than I, Jo.

You've come an awful long way since spinning in the warm-up laps at Bedford

Haha I wouldn't be so sure, I punted it into the gravel and had a massive tank slapper - things don't move on so far

My thoughts exactly.

Damned good times.

Congrats, one day I'll buy you both a pint.
