Default Speed camera detection

Hi guys, so far touch wood after 6 years of driving i have no points or fines.

I notice speed cameras are coming down in price and with the increase in these on our roads im considering one.

A have a few questions, i know theres laser - realtime and GPS - for fixed cameras

i would ideally like a combo of the two.

Questions which is a good product 'resonably' priced not bothered about athestics, which will warn me and safe guard me from all types of speed cameras.

One concern is i presume if there is a mobile camera, the product will notify beforehand and i can slow down, or is it the case that if my speed detector goes off i have 'already' been caught.

Basically i dont know alot

Thanks

I've an old Snooper, S5R or something.

Warns of cameras (and Tesco's automatic doors) with a few 100m warning.

The Laser is a "you've been caught" .. but it's good. I've gone to overtake trucks twice now, had "Laser" warning, and then just pulled back in behind the truck.

So far it's saved me in total about 5 or 6 times over 6 or so years.

laser.. if you're lucky you'll get scatter off a car in front. if not

i got lucky two times out of two though..

the old radar detectors are set to be banned in this country though.. but not gps. the B2 has a detachable laser detector to this end.

it and the road angel are considered the top products i think
