Speeding Question Please
well the story unfolds, she bought her car in March and so the registered keeper (the garage she bought it from) was notified within 14 days but alas she wasnt!!
not sure where she stands now as it was DVLA who hasnt updated their records (they were informed twice that registered keeper had changed)
i reckon she just going to have to lump it

I'm not sure that would wash to be honest. As I mentioned to Gad when he was investigating getting Gatso'd, it's got nothing to do with what might seem logical or "right". The legal process in these cases is totally weighted against the individual and is, at times, utterly nonsensical.

I think as long as they serve it to whoever is reasonably believed to be the registered keeper, that counts for the 14 day rule. You can still be done when they sort out who the real driver is later,
