In theory a good idea.

Maybe we should setup similar on Southend Pier.

Start at the entrance, and race down it. Finish line at the end.

 

I used to live in sweden and a similar thing happened there, all the cars used to meet up in the oil harbor in Malmo and the police got fed up of raiding it so they did a deal and made it leagal on just one road in the industrial area after 8 pm its a massive sucsess with as many spectators as participants
I wish we could be so sensible over here

 

I have put a lot of though into doing something similar to a touge event over here.

Loads of nice B/whites that no-one really uses anymore.

Just a real shame no-one would actually go for it.

If you die, you die, sh1t happens and you know the risks.
